Contemplative Practices Workshop 2 - Labyrinth Meditation

Contemplative Spirituality Workshop Two - Labyrinth Meditation

What is contemplative practice?

Contemplative practice involves finding times of stillness in a quiet space to connect deeply with our minds, bodies and spirits, nature and the other. Contemplative practices invite us in to a deeper relationship with ourselves and God.

Contemplative practices also have been known to reduce stress, lessen anxiety, create feelings of wellbeing, and deepen relaxation.

Northcote Uniting Church - Chalice is offering a 5 week course in contemplative practices.

Each week covers a different topic: sitting meditation, walking the labyrinth, art making and meditation, and movement meditation.

No experience necessary.

What we plant in the soil of contemplation we shall reap in the harvest of action.”
